Carolina Locos
TEAMS
The Carolina Locos are our primary team experience and the foundation of our organization. These teams primarily compete in the Greater Charlotte area in travel baseball tournaments hosted by Top Gun, USSSA, or Perfect Game (with potentially one destination tournament each season).
Our goal is to create an environment where players continue to develop their skills and baseball IQ, while also building a love for the game. We work to place players and teams in the proper divisions so they can be competitive, build confidence, and experience success, while also being challenged to grow.
Team Details
Tournaments
Our Carolina Locos teams primarily compete in Greater Charlotte tournaments hosted by Top Gun, USSSA, and Perfect Game. Each team typically participates in 4–5 tournaments during the fall season and 5–8 tournaments during the spring season, with opportunities to play more on our Select or Hobos teams.
Coaching
Our Carolina Locos coaches are the backbone of our program and play a key role in creating a positive, developmental environment for our players. For our Local teams, we typically look for parent coaches who bring prior baseball experience and a passion for helping kids grow. We understand that coaching is a big commitment, which is why we provide the support, resources, and guidance needed (from practice plans to player development tools) to help our coaches succeed on and off the field.
Team Fees
We believe travel baseball should be competitive, fun, and accessible...not something that breaks the bank. As a non-profit organization powered by dedicated volunteers, we work hard to keep our fees reasonable, with most teams typically falling in the $300–$700 per season range depending on uniform needs.
